Access to the right information, care, and health support is key to EHAP's goal, youth need to make healthy choices that will benefit their lives and help achieve a better future. EHAP provides youth-friendly health services that are welcoming, confidential, and rooted in the everyday realities youth face, whether in school, at home, or in the community. With generous support from our partners such as the Presbyterian World Service & Development (PWS&D), the Church of Scotland, and the Stephen Lewis Foundation, EHAP promotes youth-friendly services across Ekwendeni and surrounding areas. These services include free HIV testing and counselling, sexual and reproductive health (SRH) education, menstrual hygiene support, family planning, STI prevention, and honest conversations about relationships, consent, and peer pressure. At the heart of this work is our Ekwendeni Youth Resource Centre, a safe and inclusive space where young people can ask questions, access care, or speak privately with trained staff or peer educators. We also reach young people in rural areas through our community youth information centers, school-based youth clubs, and community-based drama groups that use storytelling, music, and dance to break down stigma and spark conversations that matter. We are proud to stand with youth across our catchment area, helping them grow into healthy, informed, and empowered adults.
